Immigration reforms to benefit EB2 and EB3 ??!!

Bill Gates is currently in India. According to the news papers, he has addressed the CEO forums and has critized the US policy on immigration. He has warned the immigrants that given the economy US is going to make the immigration policies tougher. He has told it is very unfortunate and it will be a great mistake to do this.

You might remember few years back, he addressed the congress and encouraged congress to pass a law to make it the immigration policies easier. He specifically wanted it to ease the pain of applicants who has masters or higher degree from US university. He wanted them to get h1b visa, permanent residency and citizenship in US much easier than how it is today.

Also couple of weeks back Associated press reported that Sen. Chuck Schumer said he will have an immigration bill ready by labor day. He told the bill go more generous to highly skilled immigrant workers. He hoping the bill will get passed by the end of the year.
President Obama and his administration is bringing back immigration to their agenda. They have started talking about high skilled labor.

Given all this, I think its going in a positive direction. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope, by the end of this year, there will good news for EB2 and EB3 applicants of India and China.
